Welcome to this month’s Numio Developer update! Since our last update, we have had three app releases filled with exciting new functionality, refined UI/UX, and enhanced in-app optimizations. Let’s jump right in.
I wanted to note that it was hard to determine the order of what is run through in this months update. We have some significant updates to share.
The Numio DeFi Dashboard
First up is the DeFi Dashboard. We are officially open for Community Testing! We couldn’t be happier to move into the next phase of this build – the extended testing phase.
The Numio DeFi Dashboard introduces new UI modules, various new code libraries and new ways for you to interact with your own assets. From depositing to withdrawing, borrowing and lending. We are starting with Aave and will expand out from there.
The dev team has been polishing its UI and refining the underlining core functionality. Over the past few weeks we started closed internal testing and are now extending this out to you.
If you are interested in becoming a Numio Beta tester and would like early access to what we are building through test tracks on Google Play on Android or TestFlight on Apple iOS, sign up here.
Minting NFT’s on zkSync
Next up is a feature we are sure you will enjoy. Minting NFT’s right from your pocket on layer 2! Upload. Title. Mint. Simple as that. We have been working on this implementation using zkSyncs toolset API and are excited to bring another core feature which we make as native as possible to you.
Simply upload or snap a photo, add in some minimal but necessary metadata, and mint on zkSync with incredibly competitive network gas cost.
Minting NFT’s in Numio on zkSync will be available in our next app release.
Sending And Withdrawing
Sending and Withdrawing are pretty important functionalities when it comes to baseline features of a crypto wallet. We have now extended this functionality to not only allow the ability to select the wallet, but also the destination network!
Core UI Enhancements
Solving UI/UX pain points in web3 and wallets is something we have been laser focused on since day one. In our latest app release, we have revised some core UI which users interact with every time they open the app. Notifications, Transactions and Tokens.
Notifications are now grouped by date and will soon be able to open the full transaction receipt right from the notifications window.
Transactions are also now grouped by date for an easier to follow timeline.
Tokens are now tappable which produce a mini-menu to either purchase, swap or view market charts for that specific token.
As mentioned in our last update, you can now connect to your favorite dApp, directly within Numio! But we are currently waiting for approval into their official registry. Don’t worry! You can connect to your favorite external dApp within the Numio app by simply scanning a WalletConnect QR code.
